Usage Note

Rotondità is both the abstract quality of being round and a concrete rounded feature — often used in a body-shape context: le rotondità femminili ('feminine curves'). Like all -tà nouns it is invariable in the plural: le rotondità. The adjective is rotondo ('round'). Compare sfericità (strictly three-dimensional spherical form) versus rotondità (more general roundness or curves).
