Usage Note

Slogan is an invariable masculine noun borrowed from English — its plural is identical: gli slogan. It is used in advertising and political contexts just as in English. Because it ends in a consonant cluster unusual in Italian, it does not take a regular Italian plural suffix.

Examples

"Lo slogan della campagna era molto efficace."

Natural Translation

The campaign slogan was very effective.
