demanding
Usage Note
Stressante is an anglicism-derived adjective that is invariable in gender (un lavoro stressante, una giornata stressante). It is very common in spoken Italian and has largely displaced the more formal logorante (wearing, exhausting) in everyday contexts. Do not confuse it with stressato (stressed out — describing a person's state) vs stressante (stress-inducing — describing a situation).
Examples
"Questo lavoro è molto stressante."
Natural Translation
This job is very stressful.
