Usage Note
Eroico describes an act, figure, or quality worthy of a hero. Gesta eroiche means 'heroic deeds'. The feminine is eroica; plural eroici / eroiche. It also appears in music: Sinfonia Eroica is Beethoven's Third Symphony, well known in Italian cultural reference.
