Usage Note
Frequentemente is the formal adverb from frequente, formed with the standard -mente suffix. In everyday speech spesso (often) is far more common and natural; frequentemente tends to appear in written, formal, or statistical contexts. Using spesso in conversation almost always sounds more idiomatic.
Examples
"Frequentemente dimentica le chiavi di casa."
Natural Translation
He frequently forgets his house keys.
