Invernale is the adjective derived from inverno (winter). It describes things characteristic of or belonging to winter: temperature invernali (winter temperatures), sport invernali (winter sports). It does not change for masculine/feminine (invariable for gender), taking the same form -ale for both. The plural is invernali.
