Also means
little
Usage Note
Piccola is the feminine singular form of piccolo. In Italian, adjectives agree with the noun they modify: una piccola casa but un piccolo appartamento. The word can also be used as a term of endearment: piccola mia ('my little one'). For quantities or abstract size, poco (little/few) is used instead — piccolo refers to physical or perceived size.
Examples
"Abita in una piccola casa in campagna."
Natural Translation
She lives in a small house in the countryside.
