Usage Note

Rifare is an irregular compound of fare and shares all its irregularities (past participle rifatto, future rifarò, etc.). Common uses: rifare il letto ('to make the bed'), rifare una stanza ('to renovate a room'), and colloquially rifarsi ('to make up for a loss' or 'to have a makeover'). The auxiliary is avere in most uses, essere with rifarsi.
