Usage Note
Rincorrere is formed from ri- (again) + correre (to run) and means to chase or run after someone or something. It is irregular, following the pattern of correre: past participle rincorso, passato prossimo with avere. The reflexive rincorrersi means to chase each other — a common image in children's play (i bambini si rincorrono).
Examples
"Il cane rincorre il gatto per tutto il giardino."
Natural Translation
The dog chases the cat all around the garden.
