ritrovare
find again
verb ree-troh-VAH-reh Less Common
Origin: from 're-' plus 'trovare'
Also means
recover
Usage Note
Ritrovare is trovare ('to find') with the prefix ri-, so it means finding something you had lost or seeing it once more. Its reflexive ritrovarsi is very common and means 'to find oneself somewhere' or 'to meet up again'. Don't confuse it with simply locating something new, which is plain trovare.
Examples
"Ho ritrovato le vecchie foto."

I found the old photos again.

I-have found-again the old photos.
