Round is a masculine invariable noun borrowed from English, used mainly in boxing (il primo round) and in negotiating or competitive contexts (un nuovo round di colloqui). Like most English loanwords in Italian it does not inflect — the plural is also i round. It is always pronounced close to the English original.
