Usage Note

Stavolta is a spoken contraction of questa volta (this time) and is common in informal speech. It can open a sentence for emphasis — Stavolta hai ragione — or appear mid-sentence. Equivalent register-twins are questa volta (neutral) and in questa occasione (formal).
