Consuntivo is an accounting and public-administration term for a statement of actual income and expenditure after the period has ended — as opposed to preventivo ('budget estimate' or 'quote,' prepared in advance). The phrase bilancio consuntivo ('final accounts') is standard in Italian public finance. It is also used as an adjective in that phrase.
