Also means
divorcee
Usage Note
Divorziato is the masculine form; the feminine is divorziata. It can also function as a past participle of divorziare ('to divorce'), so context determines whether it is a noun (a divorced person) or an attributive ('a divorced man'). Unlike English, Italian nouns and adjectives must agree in gender: una donna divorziata.
Examples
"Il mio vicino è divorziato da due anni."
Natural Translation
My neighbor has been divorced for two years.
