Usage Note
Fatto as a noun means a fact or event (i fatti della giornata = the day's events). It is also the past participle of fare (to do/make). The phrase in fatto di means 'when it comes to', and fatto sta che introduces a conclusion: 'the fact remains that'. Do not confuse with fattoria (farm).
