Usage Note
Olimpico agrees in gender and number: olimpica, olimpici, olimpiche. It is almost always used in fixed phrases such as Giochi Olimpici (Olympic Games), torcia olimpica (Olympic torch), and record olimpico (Olympic record). The colloquial shortening Olimpiadi (feminine plural) is used for the Games themselves.
