Usage Note

Dodicesimo is the ordinal number for 12. Like all Italian ordinals above decimo, it is formed by adding -esimo to the cardinal stem. It agrees in gender and number: dodicesima, dodicesimi, dodicesime. Written as a numeral it appears as '12°' (masculine) or '12ª' (feminine).
