Ennesimo comes from the mathematical concept of the 'nth' value and is used colloquially to express exasperation at an endlessly repeated occurrence — per l'ennesima volta (for the umpteenth time). It always precedes the noun, like other ordinal-style adjectives. The feminine is ennesima, plural ennesimi/ennesime.
